About the Innovation, Research and Entrepreneurship Workshop

Innovation and Research are key ingredients to advance and leapfrog Information Technology (IT) development in any country. They are critical and major driving forces for a nation’s long-term economic growth and sustainability development. To build collaborative, purposeful and rigorous research and innovation efforts towards nation-building, Nigeria Computer Society, the foremost IT body in Nigeria has consistently developed and promoted the adoption of emerging technologies for enhancing national development.
As part of the series of capacity-building and developmental programmes to promote innovation and research in Nigeria, NCS has introduced this Innovation, Research and Entrepreneurship Workshop to provide the necessary support for developing rigorous and smart innovative ideas for the economic empowerment of the nation.
