Adebukola Onashoga

Professor Adebukola Onashoga is a two-decade plus academic veteran, a cybersecurity researcher, and a professor in the Cybersecurity Department at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State. She has served as the Head of the Department of Computer Science at the same university and currently represents the Senate in the Staff Development Committee. An erudite scholar and indefatigable administrator, she has achieved outstanding success in various roles within the university. She pioneered the leadership of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Mountain Top University in Mowe, Ogun State.

Prof. Onashoga is a principal and co-investigator in several project grants and has authored notable publications in reputable local and international journals, with a significant focus on computer security. Her research background in data mining informed her Ph.D. study, where she applied her expertise to mitigate security risks. She has utilized visualization models in various projects and is currently considering the security issues in relation to Artificial Intelligence. As the leading member of a research group on Information Security and Innovative Systems at her university, her innovative contributions include the PlantDoctor, a deep learning model designed to diagnose plant diseases.
