Professional Fellowship
Requirements
Fellowship is the highest membership grade of the profession and it is conferred on interested members who have proven to be authority in the field of Computing, with significant contributions to the growth of the profession over the years. Interested members must fulfill the requirements stated in Category A or B
Requirements – (A):
- Be at least thirty (30) years of age.
- Has not less than ten (10) years of relevant professional working experience, at least five of which must have been in a position of senior management responsibility.
- Applicants for Fellowship grade must have been a Full Member for at least 10 (ten) years.
- Must have been a full member of CPN for at least 3 years.
- Must be financially up-to-date with NCS and CPN
- Must have attended 2 out of the last 3 NCS Conferences as at the time of application.
- Has professional activities and achievements which qualify him/her as an authority in the profession.
- Be considered by the Society to be fit and proper to be so recognised.
- Has his/her application sponsored by two Fellows who are financially up-to-date with NCS, CPN and College of Fellows
Requirements – (B):
- First degree (HND, B.Sc., B.Tech) in Computer Science/Information Technology/any related discipline or equivalent or Computer Professional Examination (CPE Stage III)
- Must have post qualification experience of 20 years (i.e 20 years practicing experience is required after qualifications stated in (i)
- Must have registered with NCS and CPN
- Must be financially up-to-date with NCS and CPN
- Must pay special admission fee to be determined by the Council.
- Must also fulfil vi, vii and viii in Category A above
